New at Teeth and Claws! My Diplodocus and ferns place mat, featuring my original pen and ink illustration of a long-necked Diplodocus, grazing among leafy, inky ferns. A gentle giant of a prehistoric character to add some dinosaur style to your dining table, and a lovely and practical gift for dinosaur lovers of all ages!

I loved designing this dinosaur here by hand in my small UK-based studio, as part of my range of illustrated dinosaurs! Diplodocus is one of those classic dinosaurs we encounter early on, and I wanted this distinctive long-necked sauropod to be part of my new range. I really like their silhouettes with the long neck and equally long sinuous tails! Coupled with their colossal size they make for an awesome prehistoric beast, mine is a little smaller but a perfect dinosaur for the home. Housetrained too.

My place mats are all made here in the UK from sturdy eucalyptus hardboard with a cork back (for no slippage!) and a glossy melamine finish, which is heat and stain resistant. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, practical as well as beautiful!

This is for a single place mat. Matching dinosaur and ferns coasters and greeting cards are also part of my range, lovely for a coordinated table setting or for gifting!
