This is my newest card design. I loved designing and illustrating this by hand in my Nottingham based studio. Wolves are a favourite of mine, incredible beings in themselves but also their association with stories, particularly the Norse myths, fairytales where they are often the wicked villains and fearsome appearances in medieval bestiaries and folk tales! Fascinating beasts. This card is printed here for me in the UK in environmentally friendly ink on lovely thick smooth white cardstock, which is sturdy to display and easy to write on. It comes with a blood red envelope which compliments the wolves perfectly. A beautiful, romantic greeting card to give and receive.
