I enjoyed designing this bat card by hand here in my small UK based studio, as part of my range of bat designs. It is slightly different to my other more story-telling illustrations being a pattern, but I really love the distinct silhouette bats make, particularly in flight. This black and white design reminds me of Rorschach tests also — I definitely see bats, I think! (What do you see?) This card is printed here in the UK in small sustainable quantities, on thick smooth white cardstock which is sturdy to display and easy to write on. I have paired this striking card with a rich purple envelope, for a splash of Gothic colour. Black and purple…
