I had fun designing this bat card by hand here in my Nottingham based studio, as part of my bat range. It is the second of my bat pattern designs, slightly different feel to my story telling illustrations, but I really love the distinct bat silhouettes. These inky bats remind me of Rorschach tests also, I definitely see bats, I think! (What do you see?) This card is printed here in the UK in small sustainable quantities, on thick smooth white cardstock which is sturdy to display and easy to write on. I have paired this striking card with a rich purple envelope, for a splash of Gothic colour. Black and purple…
