My unique and quirky owl birthday card featuring my original pen and ink illustration of a wise and characterful old owl, sitting in a twisty old gothic tree. I designed this owl card by hand here in my Nottingham based studio, as part of my range of Gothic greeting cards, owls are another intriguing creature, with many links to folklore and mythology, and wonderful birds in and of themselves too! My owl card is made here in the UK in small sustainable quantities, printed on lovely thick smooth white cardstock, which is sturdy to display and a pleasure to write on. I have paired it with a rich purple envelope, for a dramatic and magical experience. Often associated with wisdom, (such as Athena in Greek mythology) and magical links too, this owl makes the perfect messenger for special birthday greetings!
