New for 2026! Meet my gothic raven bookmark, featuring my original pen and ink illustration of an inky black raven perched on a pile of books… this curious corvid is quite the bookworm, and very much at home in any book of your choice!

A lovely literary gift for gothic fiction and fantasy readers, and anyone who loves ravens and crows! Ravens are highly inquisitive and intelligent birds, and I love them very much. My illustrated raven has a great thirst for storytelling and learning, and makes a perfect reading companion and enthusiastic page marker too. Whether your bookshelf holds fantasy, mythology, gothic romance, fairytales, folklore, sci-fi, weird fiction or non-fiction, this inky corvid is ready to join your next reading adventure.

I loved designing and illustrating these bookmarks by hand in my Nottingham-based studio. My house and studio are full of books, I love reading, and bookmarks are in constant use! I have designed my bookmarks to be double sided, this one has my inky raven on the front and one of my inky trees on the reverse. Use whichever side fits the mood: horror and poetry one day, history and travel writing the next… whatever books take your fancy, this inky corvid loves to read them all.

My bookmarks are made for me here in the UK in small batches, using sturdy, extra-thick card printed with my original illustrations and finished with a wonderfully tactile, velvety smooth finish. I hand-loop a silky ribbon through the top of each one for a touch of decadence. A beautiful and useful little gift for the book lovers in your life, or for your own reading adventures!
