New at Teeth and Claws! My T-rex and ferns place mat, featuring my original pen and ink illustration of a toothy T-rex crashing through leafy, inky ferns. My ferocious but cute Tyrannosaur is sure to bring some prehistoric carnivore style to your dining table. A lovely and practical gift for dinosaur lovers of all ages!

I loved designing this dinosaur here by hand in my small UK-based studio, as part of my range of illustrated dinosaurs! T-rex is a long-time favourite of mine, and an absolute icon in the dinosaur universe, I suspect T Rex is often who springs to mind for many folks when they imagine dinosaurs... the enormous jaws with huge curved teeth and tiny clawed arms make for a memorable beast. I am also fascinated by the ongoing discoveries suggesting Theropods- like T Rex had feathers... so I have added some to my Tyrannosaurs in recent years too, this one has a straggly inky dusting on their head and down their back. RAWR!

My place mats are all made here in the UK from sturdy eucalyptus hardboard with a cork back (for no slippage!) and a glossy melamine finish, which is heat and stain resistant. Wipe clean with a damp cloth, practical as well as beautiful!

This is for a single place mat. Matching dinosaur and ferns coasters and greeting cards are also part of my range, lovely for a coordinated table setting or for gifting!
