New for 2026! Meet my striking red dragon bookmark, featuring my original pen and ink illustration of a ferocious dragon menacingly climbing a pile of books… I assume to read them and not set them on fire…

A lovely literary gift for fantasy readers, bookworms and anyone who loves dragons! My dragons make perfect reading companions, fierce guardians of your beloved books and enthusiastic page markers too. Whether your bookshelf holds fantasy, gothic romance, fairytales, folklore, sci-fi, weird fiction or non-fiction, this dragon is happy to join your next reading adventure. Dragons are exceptionally well-read beings.

I loved designing and illustrating these bookmarks by hand in my Nottingham-based studio. My house and studio are full of books, I love reading, and bookmarks are in constant use! I have designed my bookmarks to be double sided, this one has my red dragon on the front and one of my inky trees on the reverse. Use whichever side fits the mood: high fantasy one day, nature writing or philosophy the next… whatever books take your fancy, this dragon loves them all.

My bookmarks are made for me here in the UK in small batches, using sturdy, extra-thick card printed with my original illustrations and finished with a wonderfully tactile, velvety smooth finish. I hand-loop a silky ribbon through the top of each one for a touch of decadence. A beautiful and useful little gift for the book lovers in your life, or for your own reading adventures!
