This Christmas, send your festive messages by owls… a set of six of my unique and quirky gothic owl Christmas cards, featuring two original pen and ink designs. You will receive three of each: one moody owl glaring at us with festive cheer from an old, twisty tree, and another flying mysteriously over a dark forest with a sack of presents… both wearing Santa hats.

All six cards are blank inside for your own festive greetings. These slightly moody owls offer an alternative way to wish the owl lovers in your life a happy Christmas, especially those who appreciate the darker side of the winter season. Lovely cards for lovers of owls, nature, folklore and long, dark winter nights!

I loved designing these cards by hand in my small Nottingham-based studio, as part of my range of owl cards. I have been meaning to add some festive owls for a long time! So here they are, with their expressive features, large golden eyes and their own rather different approaches to festive business.

My owl cards are printed here in the UK in small batches on thick, smooth white cardstock, making them easy to write on and lovely to display throughout the Christmas season. I carefully wrap each set in one of my branded paper bands, accompanied by six festive red envelopes that complement my dark, inky owls beautifully.
